Shakti-KHAN, otherwise know as Chandra Krown, was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. As a child she was a dancer and competitive gymnast with her first professional training being at the Main Dance Intensive Professional Training Program in Vancouver. Since then, Shakti-KHAN has been lighting up the international stage with dance, voice, acrobatics, stilts, in-line skates, fire and aerials.
Since 2000 she has worked as an aerialist with many companies including Mortal Coil, Flyaway Productions, Project Bandaloop and Aeriosa dance. Her expertise includes apparatus such as - hoop, rope and harness, trapeze, tissue and other custom designed props.
Currently she is recording her original songs and works independently as a choreographer and teacher. She is new to the Shamanic Cheerleaders and is so excited to be part of this fantastic troupe of women who spread light, fun and positive energy through dance, cheers and musicality.
